Don't Wait Until You Need CPR

Hey ladies! It’s February already! Can someone please tell me what happened to January! Wow! So here we are, February, the month of love. Some are preparing for Valentine’s Day with candy and flowers for that special someone or spending time with a love one. Also the first Friday in February is designated as “National Wear Red Day” as a symbol of support for women who suffer from heart disease. This a great time to pause and raise awareness of heart disease and the health effects on all women as well as support local fundraising events or become an advocate for the movement. When thinking of heart disease most are reminded of the process of CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) when one has gone into cardiac arrest where there is a sudden loss of blood flow and the heart stops. The CPR process is used to re-initiate blood flow and revive one who has stopped breathing and loss consciousness.  As women there are circumstances in life when our hearts STOP!
